Cimarron High School's boys basketball team played Meade High School on Saturday January 21, 2017 at Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex on the campus of the Garden City Community College during the 2017 Hi-Plains League Basketball Tournament Championship Game. The Bluejay defeated the Buffaloes 56 - 48 and are the 2017 Hi-Plains League Basketball Tournament Champions.
