Meade High School's girls basketball team played Elkart High School on Saturday January 21, 2017 at Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex on the campus of the Garden City Community College during the 2017 Hi-Plains League Basketball Tournament Championship Game. The Lady Buffaloes defeated the Wildcats 64 - 41 and are the 2017 Hi-Plains League Basketball Tournament Champions.
